Institutional Documentation for Study Permit Extensions

To support an extension request, Nova High School Canada prepares a set of official documents confirming a student’s enrolment status and academic progress. These may include:

  • Updated Enrollment/Acceptance Letter:
A renewed official letter verifying that the student is actively enrolled as a full-time learner, including details about the remaining study period and the revised projected graduation date.
  • Official Ontario Student Transcript (OST):
A current academic transcript showing consistent progress and ongoing participation in coursework, which IRCC reviews as part of its assessment.
  • Proof of Tuition Payment:
Receipts or statements confirming that all required fees have been paid for the next phase of study.

Student Responsibilities and Additional Support

Our Guidance team collaborates with students to ensure that their academic timeline supports the extension requirements. While Nova High School Canada provides all necessary school-issued documents, students are responsible for submitting their complete Study Permit extension application to IRCC before their current permit expires.

For learners who require professional legal assistance due to the complexities of immigration regulations, our administrative office can provide a list of trusted immigration lawyers for referral
