Domestic Student Enrollment and Academic Planning Procedure

Nova High School Canada follows a clear, student-focused enrollment process designed to ensure that every domestic applicant is placed in an academic pathway that aligns with their goals. The procedure is organized into three main stages, beginning with initial registration and concluding with confirmed course enrollment.

Stage 1
Online Application and Required Documents

Domestic applicants start by completing the school’s online registration form. At the same time, they must upload the necessary documents, including a valid photo ID and their latest academic record (such as an Ontario Student Transcript). These documents are reviewed to verify eligibility and to ensure compliance with provincial education requirements.

Stage 2
Guidance Consultation and Program Planning

After the transcript is received and reviewed, students are booked for a one-on-one academic planning session with a Guidance Counselor. During this meeting, the counselor evaluates the student’s previous coursework, long-term plans, and current credit progress. Based on this information, the counselor develops a Personalized Academic Pathway that identifies the courses needed to complete the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and any prerequisites for future college or university programs. Students pursuing full-time studies are informed that they must take at least three courses per semester to maintain full-time status.

Stage 3
Tuition Payment and Course Enrollment Confirmation

When the Personalized Academic Pathway is finalized, the student moves on to the tuition payment stage. Fees depend on the selected learning format (In-Person, Online, Blended, or Full-Time Program). Once payment is submitted, the student’s placement in their chosen courses is officially reserved. Students are then guided on how to activate their secure Nova High School online portal, where they can access course materials, submit assignments, and track academic progress.
