At Nova High School Canada, experiential learning is an integral part of our educational approach, complementing our rigorous online and in-class curriculum. Field trips and academic excursions are designed to provide hands-on learning experiences, allowing students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings and explore the cultural, scientific, and professional resources of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Field Trips
Experiential Learning and Academic Enrichment Excursions
Our academic enrichment excursions include:
- Scientific and Technology Visits: Tours of research labs, universities, and local tech or engineering firms to enhance understanding of subjects like Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science.
- Cultural and Historical Experiences: Visits to museums, art galleries, and historic sites to support learning in the Humanities, Literature, and Arts.
- University and College Tours: Structured campus visits for Grades 11 and 12 students to explore post-secondary options and prepare for applications through OUAC or OCAS.

These excursions not only reinforce classroom learning but also foster peer connections, school spirit, and cultural awareness among our diverse student community. By blending in-class instruction with real-world experiences, Nova High School Canada ensures students receive a comprehensive, well-rounded education that prepares them for both higher education and life beyond the classroom.
